All Competition Rules

Competition Rules

Applicable until further notice

The following rules are applicable to all competitions on WAMSTER, conducted by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) until further notice or until amended.

1. All competitions are open to young people aged 13-19 (referred to as the entrant) living or attends school in the RBWM.

2. By entering the competition the entrant will be deemed to have read and understood these rules and competition instructions and to be bound by them.

3. Entries must be made in accordance with individual competition instructions.

4. Entries will be invalid if they are received any later than the specified closing date.

5. Any failure to comply with these rules could lead to the disqualification of the entrant without reasons being given or opportunity for challenge.

6. Proof of submission will not be accepted as evidence of delivery and no responsibility will be accepted for lost, corrupted, delayed or mislaid entries.

7. There will be no cash or other alternative to the prize offered and prizes are not transferable.

8. RBWM will not be liable for any circumstances beyond its reasonable control that prevent the competition being fulfilled, a winner or winners being chosen, or any prize being taken up or fully enjoyed by a winner.

9. If any winner of a competition is unable to take up a prize for any reason, or if RBWM has not been able, after making reasonable efforts, to make contact with the winner, RBWM reserves the right to award that prize (without notice to the first winner chosen) to an alternative winner, in which case the first winner chosen shall not be eligible for any share of the prize whatsoever. RBWM shall not have any liability in such eventuality.

10. RBWM accepts no responsibility for the acts or defaults of
the sponsor.

11. The decision of the Judges shall be final.

12. Winner/s will be formally notified within 28 days of the closing date.

13. RBWM reserves the right to publish the (first name and initial of surname ) names of the winners and runners-up
